1‑on‑1 Chat: Week 11-12 (Covers weeks 9, 10, and 11)#

The Final Stretch!
You have made it to the last one-on-one interview! This final chat is a bit different. We are going to look broadly at your entire journey in the course, from Week 1 to now. We will also focus heavily on your actual project, your Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and how you are preparing for your final submission.

It’s normal to feel…
Proud, tired, stressed, or all three. The final stretch often feels intense, even when things are on track.

Structure (how we’ll use the 15 minutes)#

  • 0–5 min: The big picture. How have you changed since Week 1?

  • 5–10 min: The MVP. What you’re building, for whom, and why.

  • 10–15 min: Final submission & wrap‑up. What’s left to finish and who’s doing it?

How to prepare#

  • Be ready to explain your MVP simply and clearly.

  • Know your personal responsibilities for the final submission.

  • Think about one key lesson you’ve learned about teamwork.

Topics to Think About (Final chat)#

  1. Defining and Building Your MVP

    • What features did you leave out, and why?

    • How is the build going right now?

    • Are the features you kept clearly linked to the customer problem you identified earlier?

  2. Competitors and Business Model

    • Who is the biggest competitor in your space?

    • What makes your solution different or better?

    • Are all required Markdown documents (e.g. Value Proposition Canvas, test cards, learning cards) up to date in GitHub?

  3. Course Reflection and Personal Growth

    • How has your approach to teamwork changed over the semester?

    • If you could restart from Week 1, what is one thing you would do differently?

Action plan#

Cross the finish line:
Support your team, complete your allocated coding and documentation tasks, and submit a project you’re proud of.
